this is a slanter isn't is? and grip seems pretty glassy to me. how to tell trolon from 'glass?' were they ever made? dont have another army round here so cant weight 'em. thanks

also, in this case and in tw's book it seems like slant grip were arrow straight on the left side and bulged a little on the right. optical delusion or delivered like that to the factories? thanks again.

Looks like a slant to me..... The grip does look quite shiny although it mite just be clean??? Here is my early WKC with slant grip.

One heck of a nice hilt David, love the grip colour and the finish of the plated fittings/scabbard look very nice. Does it have a nice blade as well? Hard to tell from pics if this would be what is termed as a glass grip. They were not glass but a trolon resin like most (early/mid period) pieces. Just the variation in the composition of the material giving a very shiny, translucent appearance. It is regardless quite stunning.

david walsh, your dagger is one of the nicest patinatend and conditioned early WKC armies I have seen. Congratulations. Due to what I have seen the material is the standard trolon material but perhaps the surface is more shiny. Not the certain glass grip appearance. BUT: Wonderful grip! Up to now I have never seen nor heard of a slant type grip in "glass" (artificial amber) effectiation. Regards,
