Have any of you come across M33 SS Daggers with a scabbard finish that mimics a camera or binocular finish? Rough and textured. Over the years I have heard of these and just found one that I will post pictures of next week when my girl Friday returns.

I have a 324/37 with paint that is more flat than gloss, but still original I think. Texture is not as smooth as normal but not rough or granular.

I recently had an early Herder with a rough, textured finish which looked a lot like textured helmet paint, almost sandy. No doubt it was period applied, but not factory finish.
