At a recent gun show I found this nice RAD
" Abteilungs " flag center design .
It is a full 19 -inches across, the outer wheat design ring is 1 7/8-inches wide .

The center section has black linen pieces sewn to a white linen backing .

The outer wheat design ring has a heavy embroidery that has white cardboard pieces for reinforcement inside the larger pieces .

The outer ring is fastened to the backing of the center section . There are 3 layers of backing at the joint , since the outer ring has a black backing atop a white linen backing .
