I will start with a walther RSHA/SS PP. I found it at a local show outside of Dallas I walked away from it once then thought for a bit and went back for it. And im glad I did,It was priced like a standard walther pp. this one had its numberd mags lost to time and came with a banner only mag. probaly why the cat stayed in the bag on what is was and was passed over.

I picked up Steven J Stepan's and Dieter H Marschall's books on the ss wathers a little bit afer i found this one. mine is only 38 numbers from the first in Dieter's book. both books deal with the record cards found on some of these guns and steves book has guns numberd that he found in old paper work

I hope you enjoy,
Steve

How do you make all the numbers, etc, stand out so well in white ? Dumb question, I know, but I have always wondered.

Thanks
Dave

Dave what I used on this is a white wax type pencil they use to keep score in darts on a grease board. there is a product called paint stick that brownells has that most peopls use. I have a mint luger that that i wont use either on it, its safe but I wont, dont aks me why its just me. but on my 3 walthers I will and my other shooter luger I could but I dont.

for just fast photos ,one can use "flour / baby powder" in fill in the letters / numbers then just dust off.
A sword master in japan , who collects oldder ones ,& researches others for collectors & museums does this on the tang marks . then a few quality photos taken. then his research begins...
