These Chained SS daggers are the most widely faked because of desirability. A decent Chained SS will cost between $5000-10,000 US... your example is that you still paid too much as this type is probably the worst of repros. Real cost of this one no more than $90. A good place to start to learn about these is here on the SS forum and ordering one of Tom Wittmanns SS reference books here is the web site,,, www.wwiidaggers.com this will be a good start between the 2 I mentioned if you are serious about collecting this type of dagger. There is much to discern in this dagger types characteristics and would take too long to write about. There are some very highly qualified guys out here that can help you if you need.
