Opinions welcome It looks like everything matches the patina matches all over. The dagger looks to have some hard use but everything looks original the chain has the proper D link holes as a good NSKK chain should. The condition of the guards match the blade and the chain, any opinions out there thanks roy

Hey Roy,
In my opinion, looks good to me. Little salty but still a cool piece, I like it. I said it before and I'll say it again, nothing wrong when a dagger shows its age.

Roy,
No doubt 100% the real thing. I don't see hard use, just neglect and some dork using sandpaper to try to clean part of the blade. Hate it when that happens.

Neat piece, to bad for the condition but it reminds me of years ago when I door knocked in Penn. I was in many of old barns and dirt floor basements loading my club wagon with merch. !!

A great chained dagger to place above the mantle of the fireplace at the cabin. Got the right look.

So now we have an Oregon version of Pawel?
I got his e-mail, talked to a few friends and deleted it quickly.
I wonder how he got his hands on so many e-mail addresses? Trolling our For Sale and Wanted forums?

Hey Roy, I got a letter from Brook C. last week offering a RZM SS dagger. When I asked where she got my email from I didn't hear from her again.

I received an email from this "Brook C", trying to sell me a Eick full Rohm. I asked how they had my email and she, him,it said they found it on a militaria forum. Passed on the dagger and wished em luck on selling it. Glad I wasn't interested!! Kevin.

YEP ! C. BROOK IS MAKING THE ROUNDS WITH FORUM MEMBERS HERE & AT WEHRMACHT AWARDS FORUM ALSO. I'm guessing "he's " hacking into A forum site & stealing the addresses. most of the items offered are really bad condition , or fakes (bad looking fakes). I was offered the SS dagger too. since I did not know who it was ,I never actually opened it up. checked to see if any one forwarded my address on. all said no, so I deleted it all together. thought it might have a virus attached , or ect. Roy, thanks for bringing this up here !!!! jeff

I received the following the other day. Since I was addressed as "Skynyrd", my email must have been trolled from here, since this is the only forum I have ever used that nym.
Hi Skynyrd, Season's greetings. I have recently decided to sell my small collection of original time period WW2 German relics. I was unaware that it is against eBay's policy to auction such items so I have resorted to direct email as opposed to pawning them at the local Army/Navy surplus store. I was wondering if you may be interested in the few items I have. Below is a short list and description. If you are interested in one or more of the items I have, email me back and I can send you photos and a more detailed description and we can go from there. SMF - Luftwaffe Paratrooper Gravity Dagger (This dagger was used by paratroopers, pilots and German Air Force personnel during WW2. This dagger is original and perfect working condition and the blade has not been sharpened or damaged.) Eickhorn - SA Dagger with Rohm Dedication Blade (This dagger is made Carl Eickhorn and bench marked (1) under the cross guard and Dist. mark is (S), the blade is great condition and has not been damaged or sharpened. Eickhorn - NSKK Dagger w/ Hanger & Chain (This dagger is made Carl Eickhorn and has an RZM number. It is not in the best condition, however it is original and complete.) Luftwaffe Flak Badge in the original presentation box - Maker: Brehmer Markneu-Kirchen Gold Wound Badge in the original presentation box It is not huge collection, however I am not collecting anymore and have not been for some time. It can be an expensive hobby and I have few other responsibilities to contend to right now. I am little shocked to see today's prices of items that I found years back at much more reasonable prices. Who knows if dealers actually get the prices they advertise in today's economy, but it seems like more or a rich man's sport then a hobby now. If interested let me know and I can forward over photos and some background history on how I acquired each piece. Thanks, Brook
