I do not think this is a Nazi period piece. The likeness is poor at best. The mustache is terrible, the chin line is to sharp and the nose is also terrible. The hair line in the back is nonexistant. Art foundries do not cast solid busts. The bronze is normally the thickness of an American 1 cent coin. This casting has been done by an amature. There are bubbles in the ears or depressions where they shouldnt be. I would also like to ad that the coloring of the bronze is most assuredly that of a poor craftsman. The value would be minimal for a post war casting. Steve

I agree with Steve's assessment. No where near the quality expected from TR era, they would have melted something like this down for scrap.

Did not mean to slam your item Jul. It is what it is, and still has some value. With the pitting and all, I wouldn't expect much more than $50.
