eagle looks darkened, so the grip has probably been refinished. Pics are so lo res, hard to say anything about the runes button

Don't buy it. From a picture like that, you cannot tell anything at all.

Because of bad picture quality I can't say for 100%, but my instinct tells me it's bad grip.

Because of bad picture quality I can't say for 100%, but my instinct tells me it's bad grip . Yes. The picture is bad, but rune looks like as Eickhorn. The grip`s contour looks as right. May be it`s repaint from SA with original rune ?

After getting beaten up pretty good On the Runes button challenge, I tend to see that it might look more like a Hammesfahr button than an Eickhorn because in Daves photo the Hammesfahr examples lower right leg of the runes is almost identical to what is seen buy the example posted by Gagarin

After getting beaten up pretty good On the Runes button challenge, I tend to see that it might look more like a Hammesfahr button than an Eickhorn because in Daves photo the Hammesfahr examples lower right leg of the runes is almost identical to what is seen buy the example posted by Gagarin Yes it looks like as Hammesfahr.... but the distance between runes differs.

Gerd Gerd, They are not similar. They are very similar in regards to the form/characteristics,which i've seen on repro buttons. eg the" legs" of the sigrunen ,are not parallel It looks like the same "S"type,which i've shown.IMHO. But this pic is also real bad.

My hammesfahr has the longer type runes,point being,you never know.I was able to find many w/the longer runes,and also with the short ones.O the question of is it real, I don't know,but w/o quality pics the seller is not givig a good impression....
