Hi All,

Just started collecting a few flags recently and I have a question regarding grommets. There seems to be a debate regarding the authenticity of some flags which have corner grommets e.g. vehicle recognition flags.

I am looking at buying a loooong party banner (14 feet+) which has 4 corner grommets and 2 in the middle (no reinforced stitching or material around the grommets). I have seen a few banners like this with grommets but wanted to get a few opinions on authenticity.

By the way, the flag is single sided but seems way too long for a vehicle recognition compared to other examples.

There is a similar one here:

79.FLAGS #29920 Large NSDAP Vehicle ID Flag

Thanks.

They sometimes used grommets for large ones to attach to buildings, etc.
Most vehicle ones were under 6' long.
That doesn't make yours real, photos would help tell us, but chances are it's good.
