Yesterday, I was fortunate to pick up a nice matching S/244 1936 Mundlos S84/98 III with a nice rough-out frog. The markings in the leather are barely legible. I think the frog is dated 1937 and the first name is Bernhard but not sure. I'll bet one of our fellow collectors is familiar enough with this maker to fill in the blank spots! Any ideas guys? I took about 2 dozen pictures and this is as good as it gets....

Sometimes, if you put baby powder onto the markings so that it is inside the lettering, then lightly shake or brush off the rest, you can see what they are better. You should be bale to brush it all away once you have a good enough picture.
