I think that gold in any part of the blade etch is a bad sign.

This looks more like rust...anyway not a typical golden logo...

Tghe chain appears to be from a Communist Bulgarian Army dagger.

The logo on the crossguard is a serious problem. I have only seen these on reproductions.

The grip is probably plastic over wood.

The blde etch is not consistant with know originals.

What this has going for it is that beautiful pommel.

I would pass.

Hi Michal,
John and Jim are right. In my opinion it is a "classic" reproduction with a common Bulgarian communist dagger chain.
Do not buy it.

By the way I have never ever seen (and never heard about) a Hungarian chained dagger.

at the end guys it looks nice? Sometimes Im thinking after 20-30 years producing fakes the earliest will have signs of time and originality than This hobby will be a real challenge.Ted

Guess it is all about the right reference books and collectors education but would not be supprized to see this one in a reference book after 30years...scarry
