Barry, you hit the nail on the head! That�s it!
Now seriously: This somehow falls in the same region like eg. the RZM/UE10 marked luft dagger hangers. Even 1940 (the stamp on the reverse leather of the luft sword hanger) obviously everything was used that fitted in any way.

JoeW, please give me/us your certain information about it. I am aware of SS-flyers (most prominent is Hans Baur) but no further details about an SS-Police airforce. i think that will be interesting and something to learn. Thank you in advance, regards,
