A very fine selection of Eickhorn daggers you got there Jul! Just beautifull. I love the daggers this manufacturer made too. Certainly one of my favourites.
regards, Danny

Great examples made by the premiere edged weapon manufacturer of the Third Reich.

Notice how the trademark orientation (the location of the squirrel's head to the crossguard) changes depending on the type or nature of the blade.

Congratulations,

John

Thank you all for your compliments, I still work there'll miss him
JohnZ actually, only the SS and the HJ had the squirrel in reverse
It becomes difficult to find daggers in superb condition
I wondered also if Eickhorn daggers had produced some organization such Postschutz or the Red Cross (even though I've never seen a manufacturer's marking on any daggers of the Red Cross)
Best Regards,
Jul

Postal, never.

RLB, there is a reputed Eickhorn RLB dagger out there.

Customs, land and sea, yes.

Government, yes, Diplomatic, no.

Railway and Railway Water Protection, yes.

Water Protection Police, yes.

Some Eickhorns are very very rare.

Good representative collection. You should turn the SS dagger around as it is backwards in the scabbard.
