A co-worker at my job brought this bayonet in to show me to see what kind of bayonet this is. It has some "crown markings' on the blade close to the crossguard.
Over all the bayonet measures 18" and the blade itself measures 13".
The Blade is near mirror bright and the scabbard is an Olive green.
I took a guess and said it might be British so now I bring it here for the more knowledgeable to discern. What country made this bayonet and what war was it in,,,,And what would be the worth if he were to sell it. There is no frog that came with the bayonet ,, it is "only as is"
Any comments or feed back would be much appreciated. below are a few pics. Thanks again. Regards Larry

Probably a sweden M1914 bayonet, made by Carl Gustaf Stads Gevaerfactori.K8 is probably for a Cacalry Regiment Nr.8.

Does anyone have any more thoughts on this? ...I am trying to help a friend out, in positive identification of this bayonet. I appreciate your input Andy B.

Larry,

Andy is correct. It's the Swedish Model 1914 as he stated, not British or Canadian. It was for the Model 1894/14 carbine (not a rifle).
