Hello All!

I was hoping to get everyone's opinion on the following diplomatic dagger. It came with a collection of some very nice Hirschfngers. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. They were the best these shaky hands could capture. Thank you all in advance for your comments.

Curious that there are so many screw holes in the scabbard. And the screws that are there, at the throat, appear to have been "played" with. ~ Ian

The two extra holes in the scabbard (the one near the top and the one near the tip) are not screw holes and appear to have been drilled. Another dagger I bought from the same collection had the same two holes drilled in the scabbard. I would assume for hanging display purposes. I am just glad he didn't drill into the daggers themselves.
