Value on something like this is somewhat tough to say since the condition is so rough. Plating on TeNo hewers is often missing but this one is pretty poor, I suspect it might have been stored poorly. Blade also isn't great but it might clean up somewhat, can't tell from the resolution in your pics. From what I see I'd say $1700-$1900, give or take.

With E++ pieces going for $3,900 at retail (see lakesidetrader.com), the condition this is in would bring in less than 50% of the retail price, and this is only if you can find a buyer... minty pieces sell reasonably quickly, crappy pieces take forever.

Very tough to value something like this. Many collectors just wouldn`t want a dagger in this condition & for that reason as John has said it could be a tough sell.

Trying to be objective I think $1300 to $1500 to the right person who might like a restoration project. I may be way off & that is just my opinion but the market is very slow for anything that does not represent a real bargain.

May be mistaken for such pictures, but it seems to me that the blade sharpened and it is very bad. And of course the condition of paint on the scabard, the guard the missing placue and dark spots on the blade. All this reduces the price of the item, if for sale at dealers hewer in a state close to the Mint.

I was thinking around $900.00 for a "fast sale". most dealers would not even touch this to resell.
again , as noted ; the photos might be miss leading on the condition (better / worse).
still one harder to find these days.

I guess I was way off. Based my estimate on 1 or 2 poorly conditioned hewers I've seen sell locally in the last 6-8 months. This one didn't appear to have the blade sharpened.
