Gruppe Mark B
Here is a TimeLife Photo of some of the SA Gruppe Berlin Brandenburg. ( I make no claim to this photo )
This looks to be mid period according to the cap eagle on some of the Troopers kepis. I don’t know the exact date.
I myself like to entertain the thought of one of those guys actually being the one who is wearing one of these 2 daggers pictured below,,and or One of them that participated in the Reichstag Fire as speculation has it.
Take notice to a few of the NSKK men on the top left of the steps and mostly the SA Men with the Black cap bands and wearing gorgets,, and some holding the grip to their daggers.
Those of you who have either a Haco or an EP&S Dagger with a “B” on it should enjoy this photo.
These were the only 2 known makers who had SA daggers in Berlin ( Of special note that the lower crossguard Of The EP&S dagger is internally marked with the "S" within the Horseshoe.)
Just wanted to share. Larry

HI John, Thats pretty interesting to me and Herm Konejung was a known very early maker. Could you Post a photo of it? It would be a great addition to this thread.
Anyone else with knowledge of this rarity,, please comment or post a photo. Regards Larry

According to Fisher (which is being updated constantly) the following makers supplied daggers to this group:

Eduard Gembruch
HACO
Herder & Engels
E&F Hörster
Gottfried Hoppe
Hugo Köller
Carl Julius Krebs
E.P.& S

I own pair of typical Eickhorn <H-E> marked crossguards stamped (shall I say ampted? smirk ) with letter B.
BTW. I own also another (ground dug) pair of Eickhorn (here I'm sure they belonged to an Eickhorn dagger, there's quality control number visible) stamped with S for Schlesien - not listed in Fisher, McSARR and Nakida. Feel free to update your lists smile

Nice poster, I haven't seen this one before. Below the photo used for the poster. As you can see, they changed the colour of Keppi.
Talking about colours: SA-Gruppe (should I say GAU?) Berlin-Brandenburg was not the only one to wear black collar tabs and keppis. The other one was Niederrhein. In older days (ca.1929) black was a colour of Württemberg (and, of course, colour of Berlin).
