Hmmm kind of strange, look like lead cast eagles. Could be something made up in Europe after the war. If possible check if the screw threads are metric.
Either way, not a big deal $5-15 ea.

I think they are poor amateur fakes. They would not have got by any inspection in the US Army.

I disagree. I have gotten this type from too many US WWII veterans over the years. Some had traces of gold on the reverse of the eagle and all were from late war draftee members.

I've seen the ww2 plastic ones , that did not go over well. have not seen these , or never noticed.
Honestly thought made up to sell to the russian market.
remember, they basically were told only they fought the germans. Thier government went bye - bye, & they learned the truth.

I have seen VERY simular ones that were made in Mexico for WWII. I can't recall the company but they contracted them out of Mexico due to less restrictions on metals used. Like the Rarez wings and such. But I have seen this silly nut and small screw come with the "Made in Mexico" on the back of the large disk.
