Can someone give me a snapshot of what this document is?
A brief synopsis would be great.

It looks like an auto pen like many of the Hitler Christmas cards.

No, they are not named. They are a generic form and like the SS Honor Ring document, both were awarded as unnamed.

Don't honor ring documents have the complete name on them ?

IMO (I do have several HH documents, also an original Degen award document) this is NO original document. First it is missing the name and other datas of the bestowed (these docs alwasy have/had these datas). Second it seems to be a ft best a faximile signature and docs at this early time (due to the certain printing style) always have an original signed signature. The date does not conform to this style of document. The date alswas was written with a typewriter. Looks (for me for sure) like a modern reprint. Regards,
