Seems I just found a ummarked dress bayonet, with doubled etched blade. Has SS emblem, german eagle and both Adolfh Hitler and Himmlers names on it , hard to explain..its also division marked..starts with a L....Ill post some pics when its in my hands.
Ive set a goal......find a FHH and buy it from a vet.

The changes of that being a real presentation bayonet with Himmler's and Hitler's signature are not good. Sorry

Well, at least it doesn't sound like one of those "enhanced" field bayonets. Dave is right. The chances are slim that it is authentic, based upon your description. However, good photos will help to better evaluate it. You never know. Could be a hidden gem. If so, it is extremely rare and should be very valuable.

Hmmm I was thinking same thing..however it is very nice....itHas SS circled with Leberstadt then Adolfh Hitler other side has H.Himmler german Eagle and oak leaves both sides too. .

Any chance of seeing some pictures of this? I'm trying to imagine it from the description provided so far.If it is real it would be great to get a look at such a gem.
