Never seen anything like it. I don't know what it is but I do know it's not a period 3R police bayonet.

Chinese sourced, this must be one of the new wave of fakes for those looking for the new and unusual to add to their supposed “collections”. With the added bonus that it’s really a four for one purchase. “MILITARY IMPERIAL WWII GERMAN BAYONET KNIFE SS DAGGER”. It’s Military, it’s Imperial, it’s a WW II German bayonet/knife. And it’s an “SS” dagger. All wrapped up in one. FP

Jim, That was straight from the seller's description on eBay. "MILITARY IMPERIAL WWII GERMAN BAYONET KNIFE SS DAGGER". So maybe the new improved version for "Advanced Collectors" will have the Runes???  Best Regards, Fred

The bids are now up to 152.50. It's too bad, ebay has made it more difficult to warn people. I was able to warn a few buyers years back on fake guitars and such. This is a private listing too. Someone will get burned. I'm really surprised it hasn't been pulled yet due to the swastika.

Well, it appears that the auction was ended because the item was sold, someone is out $152.50. There is another of the same thing for sale by a different seller, as well as 1 or 2 others in different styles.
Better get them while you can!
