Vigs48, Looks like a beauty! Can you get a tight closeup of the makers mark, please? I like this one, very nice. Best! Bill

Paul,
Very nice pickup. I think it looks like a modified Krieghof mark, usually seen within a dotted circle. I have fire bayonets with 3 variations of Krieghof's marks pictured in the "Fireman's Bayonets" thread but I don't have this one. I also liked the modified frog too.
Oddly enough this piece was offered to me weeks ago & I couldn't get the seller to answer a simple question about the maker's mark. Did you do OK on price? We never got that far since he wasn't very talkative.

Hey,
this is a beauty! Love the whole bayonet, especially its sawback aspect and the unique TM. Congrats on this nice acquisition. For the price, you could not really do better!

Paul,
Now I'm really pissed! Seriously, great piece & a great price. Worth double that easy, maybe more in this market. If not me, I'm glad it went you someone from GD.

Now that is a neat TM variation.
And a rare configuration ... sawback, in great shape and a fire bayo.
Looks like a grand slam to me.
