Hello all,
Not a helmet guy at all here but I have a couple of friends who each have a helmet and they asked me what they are worth. I'm not sure if they would want to get rid of them but before I would even ask them I'd like to have a rough idea of value & what a fair price for them would be. The first is a Luftschutz and it doesn't look like it's in the best shape. I believe there's a dent in the side of it and aren't the insides usually leather? The second one is a luftwaffe helmet and it looks like it's in pretty nice shape. In any case any help on these two helmets is appreciated. Once again thanks.

The first one is an original gladiator style helmet with the liner from a modern construction workers hard hat. Worth $50-75 for the helmet. Liner is worthless.
The second, Luftwaffe M-40, looks good and would be around $500.
