I seen and held a few MG34 with bipods but I dont recall seeing one with the adjustment to make the legs wider or narrow.

Neat that it has the date on it and the maker JFB 1943

It looks like "dfb" for Gustloff-Werke

nothing special about it. they are less common to find these days. these were how the mg 34 was originally issued. then to ramp up production ,they discontinued it. the mg42 also had the same for a short time. I did not pay any extra for this type , but may have gotten lucky ??? I would assume worth a little more. jeff
