Hello,
according to the Italian dealer who sold it, this ring was recently dug near Rome.
Is it a known period pattern ?
Thanks
Ric

Dug? no way Ric.. The pattern is thought to be a Memento Mori ring.. This is a current made piece with bogus German marks [right type but not correct].
