When I bought this I thought it was for a MAS 36 that I owned. I didn't even know there was an FG 42. I thought it would be interesting to post it here as you don't see them very often.

The bayonet is nice, what is interesting is the earlier type fo proof on the piece? when done in 1942 or later the proof is very strange, when realied earlier for MAS36 it could be real.
