Sorry for the poor photos but you get the idea. The District mark is OST which you don't see too often.

Thanks, I have this SA and a Boker GR SS as well. Not a dagger collector but wanted one of each in my collection.

I love hearing these one and only stories,, they are the best because its not the size of the collection but the ownership of a piece of History from a time period ,,we as collectors love to study. It just doesnt get any better than that. Very Nice example Erich!! Having one... is better than not having at all.
Best Larry

Thanks Larry, I only wanted an EM SA and SS in the best condition possible for my collection. With a JA Henckels and a Boker I couldn't go wrong!

Your Henckels SA is in great condition and the coppery scabbard anodizing is the best,, but I would like to see your Boker SS also Im sure it is quite a beauty in itself,, could you post a few photos in the SS forum? Larry

Thanks 777, my plan was if I was only going to own one of each dagger these are the makers that I wanted due to their quality.

Interesting to note that both of these manufacturers are still in business, and Boker is actually reproducing the SS and SA daggers. (Without insignia, of course.)

Hi Dose! Yup, I think DTS means this and this. In the US also sold, like here. And Henckels (company) here.

Bye,
KR

Thanks for the links! I use Henckels cutlery at home great knives. I had no idea about Bokers SA/SS style daggers being made.

Other than the quality of both Boker and Henckels, I kinda liked the idea that both were still in business when I decided on which SA ans SS daggers to buy for my collection.
