Recently picked up this nice E Pack NSKK. Nice untouched pieces can still be found. This piece has a copper 'SA' roundel as a lot early Packs did.

Thanks guys.

Question: I know most NSKK scabbards are painted black even the early ones. Are there examples of NSKKs with black anodized scabbards like early SS scabbards? Thanks

Fitzer,

Yes the earliest NSKK scabbards were anodized. I have seen several. Most are switched with early SS daggers with painted scabbards. It vastly improves the $$ of the SS piece and most people expect the NSKK to be painted anyway.
