I saw this for sale and wonder if it's an original ring. The eagle looks different than on other Norwegen rings I have seen. Ring1 Ring2 Ring3 Kris

K. , I have some saved photos in a file but can't get to them at the moment,,,do you have any saved shots of other eagles??
Could also just be a variant.. What looks a little werid to me is the content set of marks..
Anyone have a nice example for comparisons?

The stamps look a little bit weird. Second thing, that makes mwe wonder is, that the feathers of the wings and the swastika looks very worn, the enamel instéad looks fresh.

Evgeniy,, Sometimes you will see the small flag on old / other pieces of jewelry. A cigarette case, watch fob, etc.. Please anyone see a flag that might be used to restore this ring contact Evgeniy..

on my opnion you must ask seller add. shots: need flag (it must be soldered) and need place of seam
but in this moment i dont see controversial points in this ring

well IF, if you had to go just by these photos,,,I'd say it looks more good than bad..........
IF you're really interested in it get better photos of the band markings, and a angle shot of front , shot of enamel...

I was brave enough to take my chance and i´ve bought this ring. Imho a nice original one with a great patina. It is stamped A.G. 830 S The stamp first appeared strange, but after removing a lot of dirt and cleaning the stamp area a little bit with water the maker´s mark and the silver content is clearly visible. The flag is extra soldered on and the seam is clearly visible. I also think, that the frontplate is also extra soldered on. You might see a little seam, too. On the backside the ring is engraved: H. H. and 22.6.40

well the flag/ring is 2 piece and looks to be enamel. The content mark looks better cleaned. The HH and the date were probably done at 2 different times and/or maybe by 2 different people , but overall from the photos it looks fine.
