The first etch on WKC is the pattern you see on page 235 of Wayne's book and is listed as common. It is a Holler produced etch and Holler did do some sloppy work so that the jagged borders as seen on the picture with the closeup of the trademark WKC helmet may be excused. The etch looks pretty deep, but I would want to hold it in hand just to double check it.
The Horster etch, on the other hand, I do not like. This etch pattern was used by Klaas (see pages 229 and 232) and this pattern was unique to Klaas manufacturing. Klaas, to my knowledge, did not make etches for Horster, only Holler did. So, that would turn me off.
