Looks too large along with the space on the upper crossguard that you can drive a truck through.
Check out the "Anatomy of a fake SS dagger" in the first and 2nd spaces of the main SS forum. Save your money!!

The scabbard should NOT be painted. Most of what I see is bad or reworked or rusted parts.

Not bad,but it looks repainted.
eagle and runes looks good.

But as i wrote before,it is a "all put together" (parts-dagger).
Just my opinion.

Painted scabbards ?

ALL early maker-marked SS M1933 daggers except Schuttelhofer were produced with "anodized" scabbards. Today some are being sold with repainted scabbards that are always claimed to be "period repaints" or even originally painted. Believe what you will.

The dagger shown is worth little. The grip is reworked at best and looks painted. The eagle may be real. The crossgards might be OK. The scabbard is mismatched pieces that are probably not real. The blade seems original but has been rusted and worth ?

For some reason, this maker's blades tend to rust and corrode. Probably due to purchasing inferior steel.

The blade blanks came from a limited number of forges. I am not sure that one smallish assembler could pick and choose. I own two (unrusted) ones with completely different tang marks.

Eagle made yesterday:) there are visible, like the original runes.
Garda is also similar to the original not only by this Dagger.
Foot painted in places where the rust

alien, I think you dont understand? Your english is very bad, no one understand what you are asking.

Alien it has been 4 pages into the thread now,, is what you are searching for the truth or do you want someone to tell you that half of 1 Euro is really a whole Euro? These last few pages have really added up to nothing except, what we already see on a day to day basis. What more can be said that has already been said. Your persistence will not change what is final on this dagger and your questions are starting to raise "red flags" towards yourself. All I can say if the opinions you have received are not sufficient, then you must search for another forum to answer your questions,,, since here all that you have asked repeatedly have been exhausted. You can not get "Blood from a stone" at least not here!! We have given our best answers to you and we invite all commentary concerning this issue. It seems as though no one else wants to comment on what has already been said except you. No one will comment on what may look good but in reality it really is not. I think alien understands very well what is being said. A good hunter will not draw attention to himself to scare away his target. Alien you are not the hunter but now the hunted.
