Lightening up the picture helps, grip look OK to me. Cross guards are hard to tell, sometimes pictures of the dagger apart are needed, especially with RZM makers. Many times, even if all the parts are real, it may be a "put together" dagger.

I THINK £950 $1500 IS FAR TOO MUCH FOR A DAGGER IN THIS CONDITION BUT IT IS GENUINE

First dagger is in very poor condition, so I wouldn't recommend you purchasing it, no matter if it's original or parts dagger. The second dagger is OK, so if it fits your budget you can take it into consideration.

Dajpun If you are looking after an SS in low budget. Have a look at Pauls Site here. This dagger is an early one too. Dobbelclic on url for bigger image http://www.lakesidetrader.com/pics/Ss-254d.jpgSS-254 Böker SS Blade is a bright example with lots of crossgrain intact, right down to the tip. There is just the very lightest of age. Motto and maker mark show a nice contrast to the blade. The black motto displays the "pimpling" we so often see on Bokers, (see Wittmann's SS reference pg 56). All the edges are smooth. Certainly Exc++. The crossguards are the correct nickel-silver Boker in-house cast type we usually see. These show a bit of shrinkage and all the radii and angles are correct. Lower crossguard is properly marked "I". The grip is a nice heavy example that has no fakes or chip however there is a hairline running down from the top crossguard about 1½". The eagle is a correct nickel version and the runes have 100% of enamel. The scabbard fits the dagger perfect and all the patina matches nicely. The undented scabbard has a period repainted finish that shows honest wear. The ball is fine. All the screws are all intact. The fittings themselves are nickel silver. It all fits nice. Overall Exc++ $3495 LH

Its been up a long time and been reduced like 500$ i think
Always looking for top condition daggers of any variety!
