hello i have this SS36 in my collect i thinks it s a good daggers period 2ww but i am not sure what is your opinion sorry for my bad english best regards philippe

I am sorry, but the chain and center scabbard fitting are not good - postwar. I think the blade is the same, but I'm not as positive about that as I am the chain.

I'm not a huge fan of the etch on the motto, does not look like a '36 etch.
Always looking for top condition daggers of any variety!

I agree with Grumpy, however the motto etch is an acceptable pattern for an M36, in fact is very common. Better pics of the blade are need IMO, but not looking good so far...

To purchase any dagger especially an SS dagger,, in these times,,it would be safer to know someone and pay a little more for peace of mind than to buy on impulse. Not that I am saying this certain item was purchased on impulse but when buying an SS dagger, much research must be sought after on it first. This M36 looked good from the beginning and lost it appeal further down as the photos progressed. I agree with Red Baron the etch is an acceptable "pattern" but no more than that.
