I will submit my two westwall rings for review. The first has what appears to be a 900 hallmark. The second one no mark. Both were purchased in the early 80's. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, I don`t know both in exact this pattern, so it is real hard to have a founded opinion.
All in all i have in both no good feeling altough the pics aren`t so good.
On the first ring it look on this pics like it has some pittings, that would be a not so good sign.

1st. is whats called a big head WW type 2.. A good known pattern. Very hard to find. This looks pretty good. Better photos will get you a better opinion!
2nd, Im not framiliar with. Some like tham, some don't. again, need better photos inside and out..

I am still honing my photographic skills or my lack of. Hopefully these pics are clearer and I am able to get a definitive answer on the rings. Thanks.

dr,, the Big Head doesn't look so good. The leaf above the West/Wall have good detail to them. They made good copies of them years ago this looks like one. IF, I can I'll post details of a known good one,,and again, somewhere here is a topic featureing one with photos..

The 2nd ring I was never a big fan of. Just not for me. Maybe another member can shed some light on it..

o.k., got lucky and had my work right by me.. Skull is smooth, inner band smooth,,leafs all around very detailed..

I looked at my Bighead ring with my jewelers glass and you're right G. The leaves lack detail. Can't win them all. Thanks for all the insight.
