Hi Wez
Firstly im no expert on these in all honesty, but that blade does look pretty good to me, i dont have a Boker to compare to but if put on the spot i would probably say its good but i have been wrong in the past and maybe wrong here. If it is a fake blade it certainly isnt one of the crappier ones that we normally see. Wait around to see what one of the big guns say on the matter im sure one of them will know for sure.

I think the blade is a good one, maybe cleaned and polished but original.

Thanks , I was wondering about the motto cause i dont see the pimpling affect normally found on bokers, and i was thinking the blade looks a little narrow going to the point. Everything else does look good, but i figured it would be best to ask because this one is comming out of berlin germany. The seller has low but good feedback, mostly on these TR Items.

If you want to buy it wait for the big boys to comment this blade. Better to be 100% sure.

I have placed a low bid for now. it just got listed yesterday and may end up getting canceld by the ebay police if real. So i have made contact with the seller incase it gets pulled.

so far it sits at $200.00 but it's ebay and you never really know what will happen to that as it will change , there is still 6 days left of the listing.

scruffy....you care to tell us why it's a fake? or is it because you are the high bidder?

Just be carefull on the feedback thing i beleive sometimes that some sellers start up with a fresh name then sell maybe 10-20 cheap items to obtain a 100% feedback score, just to pull the wool over the buyers eyes. Saying that i have just had a look at the seller and he has sold quite alot of dagger parts in the last 12months and every buyer seems happy with their transactions, so maybe he is ok?

I guess time will tell

C'mon guys this is what is wrong with this forum.this blade is good...it is good from the pics provided...I would purchase with confidence....guys buy and READ some books and visit the shows and ask to look and handle daggers...compare and take mental note...this is a good SS Boker blade..it is GOOD!!! as Dave pointed out it is not without issue but it is period and correct....this is not astro psyhics guys...no problem with asking but un-educated opinions or guesses serve no purpose....good luck and hope that you are successful in acquiring it at a fair price...if you need one $750 or less is a far price...cheers, Ryan

The blade appears to be original, but may have been sharpened judging by the marks on the blade edge. The tang mark is correct. Not all Bokers have pimpling in the motto. Don't believe it if someone tells you they do...

the seller says it has light sharpening and is about 3mm short in lenght but it does look to be in pretty good condition. The new guy with one posting who says it's a fake must be lost in cyber space and hasent replied back.

The new guy, scruffy, needs to read the rules and state his reasoning.

Not the best Boker on the planet, but it is something to compare that blade to. I think it looks good.

I think that scruff was a shill for someone trying to buy that blade. Only showed up that once and would not explain his comments.

Either that Dave or just someone throwing eggs, just to get a reaction.

Nice purchase scruff!)!

Shame that the ebay antinazi policy now makes people to take apart SS daggers and sale one by one.

How many were lost due to this fact? Thousands minimum...
