Nice and thanks for showing your latest score.
I've always admired these plaques but never felt knowledgable enough to but one.
Sure does look nice next to that eagles wing.

Hello Hakan,
Very nice plaque particularly with the case. My plaque like this also has the same maker as yours but with a light colored interior. Thanks for showing it.

Hakan, Dean & Bill,

This has to be one of the finest Hitler plaques I've ever seen, and the case looks to be in prime condition, too! Do you think either of you could post a nice sharp photo that's straight and full on? It'd be great to see the detail and the wording. As Dean noted, that's a good-looking eagle wing in the first photograph. grin

Very, very nice and thanks for posting.

Hello,
First off a hello to you Bill, hope things are going well on your end. I have attached a picture of my plaque, the front and reverse. According to Angolia this is an officially recognized plaque given to middle ranking state officials. Sometimes the front of these plaques have an inscription beneath the writing on the front of the plaque relating to why the award was given.
Again nice plaque you have there Hakan
regards,
Duzig(Bill)

Hello again,
Along with my plaque came this piece of paper identifying the GI who took the plaque and where he obtained it from. I contacted the Red Cross regarding the GI who obtained the plaque and they sent me a little package with some further information about Mr.Turo who was indeed in that area during the time period. The translation of the wording on the plaque is also shown on the piece of paper.
regards,

Bill,

Thanks so much for adding the additional photos and that great piece of provenance, absolutely first class.

All's well here in Philly, good to hear from you. Hope everything's fine on your end, too, and that you had a good summer season on the collecting front.

Best regards!

Bill

Hi Guys !
Sorry for the late reply !
Here is a few more pics of the plaque.
These comes in different colours of the interior.
I used to own one with an almost white interior a few years back.
Thanks for the inputs and kind words guys !

Hello,
Hakan, yes I have seen different colors in the interior. My case is a goldish or yellowish color inside.
I've seen a few different makers also but this adolf trumpf seems to show up quite a bit.
regards,

Hey guys, I just ordered one of these plaques myself. Are yours bronze coated zinc too? Do you know what they weigh? Thank you.

The one I ordered was described as a "Bronze Zinc" Plaque weighing in at 123g. I was just wondering if that sounded accurate. I'm always skeptical of things I've never seen/handled before in person. It looks identical to the ones pictured.

Hello,
I don't believe mine is zinc. I think mine is bronze.

Pics would be helpful, as there are a ton of modern reproductions out there.
