Gentlemen

I wanted to let you know this www reference will be going off line soon, so some of you may want to copy some of the guides / articles that are of interest to you: www.zeitzeugen1939.com Named daggers as military material culture, research process at German /US archives, "unpacking the Wehrmachrt officer corps," etc.

I have, as some of you know, put several years work into this and managed to break some new ground in terms of understanding archival research of Wehrmacht officers of all three branches. I think you will find this is one of the most intetesting collections of named and researched daggers around (not all are shown on the site). All of it will have new owners soon and the website will go off line. I have found an exciting project that all the profits will go to.

Best

Thanks Janos. Someone in Poland is offering to host the site. Assuming the content is not edited in any way that should work. Looks like a couple of the pieces might also end up in Poland!

Gustavo:

I am happy that your great site will continue, but sad that you will not be intimately involved in it.

Good luck to you in your 'new' endeavour.

Good luck Gustavo. I have always enjoyed reading through your site and following your conclusions and the data reached through your research.
