Great looking initial production Eickhorn! Looks all correct,bet that one has a brass scabbard. Be careful they are easy to dent! Kevin.

Yes a very nice early Eickhorn. you can see the brass crossguard where the silver has rubbed through well done.Sean

Hello, I agree with Kevin and Sean. Very nice double oval Eickhorn. And Kevin, you are absolutely right, these brass scabbards are VERY easy to dent! I have one with the same problem... Mine has a tapered tang, and the tang is marked C.E. Janos

12 leaf pommels on the early Eickhorn's are seen occasionally, I've had a couple,whilst this dagger is early I should think with this pommel it's just not quite the earliest, no problem with it in my eyes.
