Not a Gold Party Badge - it's a Luftschutz medal.

Terry, thank you. I like the six place lapel pin also. Not often do we see both the 25 and 40 year faithfull service crosses mounted together.

Wow, you gents have been busy. Rod, nice two award lapel pin, well marked. Denny, I recall the three awards in the case, outstanding examples. Terry, more excellent combinations. Fischer, that's a nice dimension to be in. Quite an enjoyable grouping. Are any of them marked? Thanks and regards,--dj--Joe

Hi Joe
No, none have a mm and all are solid. I did just add this nice hollow example...this is the first hollow IAB mini I have seen.

Don, congratulations, that is a finely detailed example. Very nice finish remaining. I do see frosting don't I? It must have a good base metal. Not too many hollow minis out there that I could find. So much variety in these small awards make them most interesting to collect.

Some very nice pieces there Gentlemen.
Alas mini awards are not an area that I collect so am unable to contribute.
Thank you for showing them.

Regards, --dj--Joe Thank you Joe...I am very happy with that little hollow one. It does have what we refer to as a frosted finish, very appealing IMO but not very durable.

I've picked up a few N.S. era 16mm. miniature medals. Sadly separated from the lapel attachments, chains or button hole devices. Grubenwehr ehrenzeichen.

Fischer, a very nice well defined piece. Great close ups as well. Is the body convex? Great example for your very nice collection.
Thanks for showing it.

Hello Spike
Great looking collection of mini's you have. It was tough for me to decide which one I liked best...In the end the IAB mini with the mm of Herman Wernstein won out.
Thanks for showing these, the IAB is an example I would like to have!

Thanks fischer. Appreciate it
The IAB was quite a nice surprise as it was not advertised as marked. Quite like the CAB's and UBoat minis. Not everyone's cup of tea, but they certainly have something.

I picked this up last year. Heer 12 yr. 16mm. I've been keeping my eyes open but am not finding affordable miniature awards to add to the collection.

I read some time during the Third Reich the wear of 16mm. awards was forbidden. (?) Anyone have more info. on this? Was it all 16mm awards? Medals and badges? I understand the wear of 9mm. awards continued. (?)

thats very interesting Joe. Might be correct. Hopefully someone will know and post.
minis were always hard to collect! I didn't know it but every full size had a mini!
I have a old book on them ans the quality on some is excellent!

I recently had to buy a very large group of badges & pins to get a couple of pieces that I needed. In amongst them were a number of small pins. Here are some... First SA sports minis, gold, silver & bronze I hope the pictures do not disappear again
