Won this bayonet on an Internet auction recently, and I was very pleased when I got it in the mailbox. Paid 150 dollar for it and believe this was a fair price. I seldom use the term mint on bayonets, but if anyone deserves this name it must be this one. The bayonet has a thin coating of grease, but I have decided not to remove this. The grease could very well been added on it in the Berg & Co factory in 1941. I do have other unissued Mauser bayonets in my collection, but none of them are as pristine as this one. Hope you like it

Wow, amazing. It's quite a sight seeing one of these K98 in a great condition like this! The blade is also very nice and there is minimal damage to the entire piece. JAN

Thanks a lot for the nice comments, and very interesting information Will the plum blued blade only appears on 41agv bayonets in a special range of serial numbers? I do have other bayonets from the same producer, but none of them have this colourful blueing. Best regards FJ
