Thanks derjager for the link,I appreciate it,I get it now, this is an early badge,has correct stamped brass material,all the ones I had seen were solid back.

Yours is a Buntmetal PAB attributed to the BH Mayer firm. Yours has the round wire catch. Here is my example with the flat stock catch to compare.
