Hello LH, I like it...I like it Alot! It would be hard to find one nicer than that. I really like transitionals, I have six, don't have that maker, though. Tell me, did you find it in the U.S. or Europe? Congrats! Leipzig

Wow! There must be really interesting collections in Norway. I'm addicted to early makers, but I own 2 transitionals (J.A.Henkels RZM 7/10 & E.Knecht RZM 7/11) and I really like them. Great find smile

LH ... WOW ... how long was I out?! Im doing a standing ovation sir! A transitional, LOOK at those crossguards?! NICE! No lifties or bubblies? AT ALL?! Gosh ... I remember a discussion on dealerrating/wordusage-variation? But, reckon this gets "stonemint" from everyone!

LH:

This does not at all fit with your great collection of early SAs... I think that you should immediately pack it away and send it to one of your friends in Canada before it affects all the other true maker marked daggers wink

Simply incredible and congratulations.

These transitionals don't usually get the respect they deserve. Some early transtional examples have most, and in a few cases, all nickel parts !
Next week I'll post such a transitional so all can see.

A wonderful minty example of a Klass Transitional. Look at the hanger! Congrats LH !

Hey LH 600 love the photos and the camera makes all the difference,, especially the macro mode. A steady hand brings a great and not so great crossgrained dagger to life!! Nice photos. My new camera is a Nikon coolpix L110. I love the end result. Best Larry

I know this photo does not belong on this thread but for camera purposes, I just wanted to show what a good Digital camera can do. To look at my SS 120/34, in hand,,and finding the right angle to twist it,,, the crossgrain is not as prominent as some that are easily seen. Unfortunately Most SS daggers are rare to find with great crossgrain compared to The SA daggers which are more commomly seen with noticeable crossgraining,, IMO.
So yes compared to my last camera which was a video camera with a photo option, did not really bring to life ,, to my expectations good photos of my collection. Canon is a great camera and as usual LH600 your photos are great. Larry

Roy, Such is life in the decisions we make, I had a few that I still kick myself for letting go also.
Even though you say you had "3000" posts Im sure if you sent a PM to Vern he can restore your standing from the system change. You should still at least carry a rank symbol,, but I dont see that.
It is quite a nice dagger,,,both the motto and the RZM number are nice and dark. Best regards Larry

Will post some pictures for reference ...not of Klaas though.

On a separate note - what camera do you use LH?

Hello LH and Overlord! I agree, the K&M maker-mark is one of my favorites! The arm and spear is so unique, as well as the "Gothic" style numbers and letters. Here is one I've had for about 3 years, near-mint is every aspect. Hope you like! Regards, Leipzig

Hey LH,

What do you mean by "It have a ring in front to for big linces if you want".

I am seeking a good camera for closeup pictures "MAKRO MODE" - do you mean you use some additional lences?

I'm sorry LH...I was digging around and the nickel transitional may have gone to one of my dagger friends or I can't find it. But I did run into a couple I forgot about. The Grafrath come in a close second. Super quality.
Stick-man Henckels are OK too.

Hello Roydagger, that's an outstanding un-issued Wingen transitional! I have one also, but not tagged, and not that nice. I love the tagged RZM's, have two, one by Klaas[NSKK] and one by Shuttlehoffer[S/A]. Regards, Leipzig
