That one looks like a post war version. What kind of proof marks are on it?

Timboo is correct. The black plastic grips make it a strong possibility that the pistol is of French post-war production. Let us know the serial number and we should be able to narrow it down. Also, any markings on either side of the trigger guard where it meets the grip?

Denny and Timboo thank you for your help.As you know I don't know anything about guns.I collect daggers and fire axes only.I did'nt find any serial number and this is the only mark I could find on the trigger guard thanks guys Paul

I'm not sure what the mark on the trigger guard is. It looks sort of similar to the French mark, but can't tell for certain.
No serial number? That's really odd. It is normally located on the front grip strap.

No serial number? That's really odd. It is normally located on the front grip strap. It looks like the French marking to me also. And I think it should have been serial numbered - but not apparently with this one. FP
