Hello Gentlemen,

wanted to share my newest ring. I don't collect patriotic rings and I was buying it for trade, but when I got it in hand I decided to leave it in my collection. Never seen this type earlier. Enjoy smile

yes,,,,ALL authentic 3rd reich rings are getting extremely hard to find.. Something like that is a keeper.. IF its really not your area of collecting you have some excellent trade material. but as it is a great addition to your collection...

That is a very nice ring. Is it a two-part ring? The swastika piece looks like it might have been soldered to the ring. Never seen this design before... but sometimes that is a good sign...
Cheers,
Stephen

Hello Stephen :

Is the ring two piece ? You have a good question ! smile
Even with the magnifying glass I'm not convinced if the plate with the swastika is soldered to the ring , I tend to say it's all one piece molding.

Benten

Hello Andy:

I'm glad to see you here and hear you have also this type of ring .:) Thank you for your info,,, indeed the swastika has a square shape , just like the HJ . Andy., If possible, could you post yours?

About Odal........yes he was a good friend of us .....On and off, we mailed for several years........I'll never forget him.. He died far too young.

Greetings Benten!! , SO glad to see you..
,, Yes. Odal ,,,irreplaceable as a friend and colleague. We ALL miss him here terribly...Still very sad :(, and guess we'll be mourning him for quite a while..

The ring! Yes Andy has a beautiful example, exactly the same! Why do you think a mold and not from a press? Andys also right , that this IS a very rare ring! Maybe he can post photos of his!..

Hello Gaspare !

First of all Greetings to you too, Gaspare ..I'm glad to see you !! smile

About the HJ- ring.

The silver solder-lines under the plate are silversolder . I abusivily thought to see a molding structure , instead of silver- solder.

The plate of this ring is soldered .

The styl of the ring is Art Deco .

I have no idea about pattern itself but ring on pic definately has not come from press. Look at last pic of ring inside - those are 100 percent casting flaws.

There are less original rings than you think, much less...

the more I see the more this is a strange piece.. 925 was in Germany pre war and after....

The front piece I agree, separate, more than likely pressed and soldered on..

Maybe,,maybe the band is a weird multi piece.. I do own a bunch of these engravers/jewelers guild booklets,,,some strange stuff was done.. IF the front thicker part is hollow and even though faulted,,it could be a 3rd reich piece.... Well worth holding on to..

Benten my old friend,,when you get tired of it send it here buddy! wink

Here a simple swastika ring .......

This is a silver ring .
The band diameter is 20 mm and the swastika is 15 mm from point to point.
On the band rim I discovered a half 800 stamp mark. I think it?s put that way to do the ring less harm .

The little stamp ?..It took me about 12 blurry pics before I got one good sharp shot?.

A patriotic ring . I think it is from the last 20-ties , early 30-ties, before 1933 ?
