Whatever you do DONT clean this dagger if you ever want to sell it wont be worth as much. The blade looks in good condition so no need to touch it and i beleive Paul Seilheimer army daggers are quite rare so thats a good thing overall a really nice dagger with a lovely grip, im no expert tho so just wait to see what the other guys say congratulations anyways Regards Adam

Stunning Army dagger Lee , well done. I would like to see what the Army dagger experts say here about the crossguard as its not one I know. I know Paul Seilheaimer used generic type A crossguards but not to say they used others also. Its certainly an early one but lets see what the others say. Anyway great dagger and love that grip Best wishes, Ian

Very nice find, congratulation. I agree the others: please do not clean the dagger!
Ian, IMO the crossguard is Paul Weyersberg variation. (Weyersberg modified 1st style WKC)
I attached a photo of my Weyersberg army for comparison.

Yes please dont clean the dagger just wipe off the blade it is a nice one. The crossguard is an early WKC seen on these early PS army daggers.

Janos a wonderful dagger looks like your guard may be a WKC but finished by Weyersberg with the big eye! Lets hear some other opinions.

Many thanks for the compliments, i walked for 6hrs round the war & peace show and must have looked at about 50+ armies , believe or not this was the cheapest dagger and to me the nicest , more luck than judgement! i paid 250 , i just love the colour of the grips.
