Picked up this Hubertus HJ......I know it is a replica.....The quality of the knife seems quite good.......Diamond looks pretty good for a replica......When Do you think this was made?....50's?....60's?........ Thanks!

I once heard somewhere (do not know if it is true) that Hubertus were a company that used up old war time stock and used the same casts used for original HJ's and made them post war.

That is very interesting............ Hubertus currently has a web site that indicates they are still in Solingen and operate as a Subsid of Kuno Ritter...Which was an original HJ maker... Although it is unclear when this merger took place.
Maybe........War time suplus HJ parts and/or tooling from Ritter were put together and marketed under the Hubertus Brand? There is a mystery here that may someday come to light.........Dave
