Nice looking early production piece with the red felt buffer & that wide diamond bakelite. I have a short Pack with a tough to find mark that has "Garantie Stahl" on the reverse ricasso as well.

Thank you gents , I have bought this one, without seeing the blade itself , the 2 pics you see are what i went on , i'm not usually so "careless" with my purchases , but ! this is a trust excersise which could be great in the long run ,

Wow, this is a beauty and you did great in going for it. I have its brother as well, although you have it in a nicer condition. It's also marked with "Garantie Stahl" and with the same scabbard. I am sure it's the same maker. Notice the large ball on the scabbard as well as the same heavy plating on the blade. I am attaching some pictures below of the blade and the entire bayonet as a whole:
