Hello all,
Here is a silver Potsdam 1932 Natinal youth day badge. I have had this badge for many years and would like opinions on it. I believe it to be original but I usually see the Hoffstatter maker mark as opposed to this mark. Am I correct in thinking that #1 it is an original badge, and #2 that the maker is Herman Aurich? Thanks again for any help and info.

Bill, it is Herman Aurich, and the badge looks well made.

Hello,
Joe, as usual I thank you for your reply. You never fail to help another collector with your info and guidance. It is appreciated. Regarding the Aurich marking on this item, as I stated before I usually see the hoffstatter maker mark. Is the Aurich mark less seen or what? Also were there other makers of this badge or just aurich and hoffstatter?
Thanks again,
Bill

I know we have had others shown in the past. But I'm having no luck with the search engine bringing up older topics.
Mine is a Hoffstätter so I'm no help on makers.

Hello,
Hoffstatter is the usual maker I see also. Nice badges though in any case and the event certainly showed how popular Hitler's movement was & would continue to be with the Youth.
Robert and Joe,thanks again for your commments and info.
