Came across this different maker logo , does not match the 5 dagger used marks of Eickhorn , looks more like a rabbit on this mint HJ Knife , looks strange , knowledge limited on these .
Diamond is solid in the handle on this one ,
asked for more closeups , owner started yelling .

I have a postwar Eickhorn saber with a TM similar to that mark. I have seen a number of very unusual Eickhorn trademarks on the web in the last few years, some of which I do not believe are original. However, I believe yours is OK. I think I have seen it on some very early Eickhorn catalogs, will have to double check . Joe S

I have one with that trademark and it is the first version used by Eickhorn on HJ's.

Is the scabbard anodized ?

Thanks everyone .
An area I do not know to much about so had to ask . See now the range of different Eickhorn markings , this one was not in there .
I did doe a search here and some dought was given some time back that some of these were pre 33 pieces that have been converted, cut and Diamond glued in( thought Diamond suppose to have a small space around it ?) and B+E engraving was added later to make it a Third Reich Knife ? Something that is mint makes one wounder right away , as these Youth Knives are so hard to find that way , and m m ones even more so .Other pictures then not needed .
Well it seams this maker mark is ok then. Always something to learn .

The Eickhorn Factory Songbook,ca 1932, shows a trademark almost identical to yours. I will try to scan and post it in the next few days. Joe S

Thanks for the answers gentlemen , ... a lot more Eickhorn maker mark variations than I realized . Did find a chart with many different ones . Any reason why so many ?

The small diamond pattern grip plates go with this early maker mark and what I would expect to see. A very nice conditioned piece.
Fisher's reference shows pics of all the Eickhorn maker marks.
