Hi all, This sword is on offer and I would like to have your comments on it. I don't know very much on these swords and I was hoping the forum could tell me if its the real deal or a copy. Seems oke to me but I'am not fully confident with this type. Maybe you could also give me an indication on value?? Thanks in advance, PJ
Kind regards,
Peter Jan

I don't like the gilding finish on the swaz and the blade buffer looks a little odd.

The gilt on the pommel swastika looks suspiciously like the somewhat orange looking colored lacquer seen on Spanish replicas that flakes off (originals are color anodized). The maker is one commonly seen on Spanish replicas. And the leather does not look quite right (a little hard to tell because of the dark images).
Methinks that I would quietly tiptoe away from this one and not look back. FP

Thanks for you comments.
I had already placed a bid, but decided to take back the offer. PJ
Kind regards,
